We take our food very seriously here at Calvert Lakes. We pride ourselves that we freshly make or prepare all meals in our open-plan kitchen by our very own chefs.
Delicious home-made food is available every day of your stay. Please note our food is no longer presented in a help yourself style - same food but served by our chefs in-line with Covid-19 guidelines.
We take our food very seriously here at the Calvert Trust. We pride ourselves that we make and prepare all meals in our open-plan kitchen on site and where possible using local ingredients. The kitchen is at the top end of the dining room so you can see our chefs at work throughout the day! Our chefs are fully trained and take pride in providing guests with the best possible food.
A typical day…
Breakfast:
A wholesome breakfast is served by our chefs and is a great way to start your day of activities. We provide tea and coffee, fruit juice and a range of cereals. A full English breakfast with toast is served with vegetarian options available.
Lunch:
Served from the counter, lunch includes a range of sandwiches, on white or brown rolls (for example cheese, turkey, sausage, tuna mayo, egg mayo or ham), a piece of fruit, a slice of cake and a bag of crisps.
Evening Meal:
The counter-service evening meal is a set three-course affair, with a choice of starters, main courses and desserts. The menu is changed daily. Every day the evening meal menu is displayed on the board in the dining room.
Tea and coffee are available for free throughout the day.
