What Is An Introductory Weekend?

Our introduction weekends are FREE weekends, dependent upon our terms and conditions, open to teachers and group leaders from schools, charities and care organisations that haven’t been to the Lake District Calvert Trust before.
We make this offer for up to 2 people per organisation who may want to bring a group of twelve or more.

When Do They Run?

We are running 3 separate weekends across the year for 2018.

Friday 20th – Sunday 22nd July
Friday 21st – Sunday 23rd September
Friday 16th – Sunday 18th November

What Is Included?

We still have availability for all three weekends.
The weekend includes accommodation for 2 nights, full board meals, 3 taster activity sessions with our friendly instructors, question and answer session, site tour and facilities familiarisation.
It will also be possible to make provisional bookings and check availability before you leave us.
Activities can include a stables visit, rock and rope session, water activities, cycling, bushcraft and challenge activities. We cannot guarantee exactly which sessions will be available as they are allocated dependent on the needs of other groups booked in.
Outdoor clothing is available should you need it. You are welcome to borrow waterproof trousers and coats, wellies and helmets.

How Much Do They Cost?

We request a booking deposit of £50 per person to hold the booking. This is fully refundable after attendance of the introduction weekend.
